First I think it will help you if you try to figure out what your problem is. Some days a lot of reasons that you might not be able to sleep properly. Sometimes it can be the hormones of your body or sometimes it can be something in your external environment that is causing this disturbance. I had problems with sleeping around 2 years ago and I was really troubled because of it. I went to get tested for sleep apnea but there wasn't any problem of that sort. Then I tried getting one of those blackout curtains to see if that worked but it did not work either. I would just lie all night long in a dark bedroom not being able to sleep. One thing that helped me was reducing my screen time before bed. I used to use my phone before bedtime a lot often for more than an hour. When I stopped using my phone it was again hard for me to fall asleep even though I could feel myself getting sleepy. That's when I started taking melatonin (from this website: www.vitaminexpress.org/uk/melatonin-supplements). The combination of melatonin and altering my phone use really helped me get a good night's sleep. After that even two years later I do take melatonin and I find that I don't have any problems with sleeping. I wish you the best of luck and I hope that you are able to find what problem is causing you to stay up.
